A cookie is a tiny data file that we transfer onto your device that you use to access the RTGame Wiki. We won't feed cookies to your browser unless it is necessary. Apart from Cloudflare, all of our cookies are first-party and only utilized when needed. The data stored by third party services are all anonymized.

What types of cookies does we use and why?

Keycloak Session These are session cookies used by Keycloak, the auth backend we use for logging into RTGame sites via Discord. Deleting these cookies will not log you out directly, but you will be required to login with discord again when your Pomerium session expires.

dismissSiteNotice DismissableSiteNotice 1 month We use DismissableSiteNotice to allow the site notice to be dismissed. This cookie is used to indicate whether you have dismissed the site notice or not.
hidetoc Mediawiki 1 month This cookie is used to indicate whether you have hidden the table of content on article pages. It is only active on pages with table of content.
VEE VisualEditor 1 month We use VisualEditor to provide an user-friendly interface to edit our wiki. This cookie is used to indicate whether you prefer the visual edit mode or the source edit mode. It is only active on pages that allow VisualEditor.

Third Party

The only third party cookie on the RTGame wiki are used by Cloudflare to maximize network resources, manage traffic, and protect from malicious traffic.

Name Service Expiry Why do we store it?
_cfduid Cloudflare 1 year The __cfduid cookie helps Cloudflare detect malicious visitors and minimizes blocking legitimate users. It may be placed to identify individual clients behind a shared IP address and apply security settings on a per-client basis. It is necessary for supporting Cloudflare's security features.

This cookie has been deprecated by Cloudflare and will no longer be set after 10th May 2021

What are my cookie options?

While we do not have options to limit the use of cookies on our end currently, below are some of the options that you can do on your end. Although cookie is not required to browse the wiki, please note that some features may not function properly if you disable them. If you wish to avoid the use of cookie while retaining full functionalities on the wiki, you can safely disable the cookie that are not listed in the Functionality section.

  • Remove, disable, or block cookies through your browser settings
  • Use a browser extension to block cookies
