This is a documentation subpage for Template:En.It contains usage information, categories, and other content that is not part of the original template page.

{{En}} is a language template that adds "English: " in front of the text written in English. Also adds machine-readable tags identifying the text as being written in English. It is a simplified version of the same template on Wikimedia Commons. Currently it is used by file pages uploaded through Upload Wizard.
