Ice Highways
Summary
Ice Highways are a major form of transportation on the RTMinecraft server. They are also called Iceways. The reason we build them in the nether is due to the 1:8 ratio of blocks traveled in the nether to the overworld. It is much faster to travel down a highway in the nether then it is to travel in the oveworld due to this.
The new server has 4 main highways branching out in each of the four cardianl directions. The red highway travels north, the green highway travels east, the blue highway travels south, and the purple highway travels west.
History
Ice Highways were first built in the Middle Server to get to the Guardian Farm faster. They eventually became widespread and were expanded to many stream builds, towns, and personal bases.
The current server's ice highways were started by mods and admins when they built the nether hub, and each one has it's own directory compared to the single one on the old server.

The Nether Hub Ice Highways are four major ice highways branching from the nether hub.
