Clementown seen from Satsuma Mountain

Clementown is an area of the server created by Soaral, located just north of Port Zephestia, with a bridge connection to the International Bee Republic (1.20). It is the homeplace of Clementine Stadium

History

Clementown's history started on the first day of the server, the first building was Soaral's lodge, some of the logs used in the lodge's construction were salvaged from a forest fire. Construction of Clementine Stadium began shortly afterwards, starting in November 2022 and continuing well in to 2023.

The town name is a combination of the fruit Clementine and the word Town. The area has a common theme of orange, Signage and the stands inside Clementine Stadium are both orange, as well as streets being named after orange things.

Buildings

Soaral's Lodge

Soaral's Lodge was the first building to be constructed in Clementown, being built on the very first day of the 1.19 server. Logs from a forest fire were salvaged and used in its construction. The lodge has two animal pens, one for sheep and another for chickens. The lodge went a long time without a proper roof, with it being added months after the rest of the building had been completed.

Woolooworths

Woolooworths is a store in Clementown that sells photos and other goods, it was built after Clementine Stadium. There is another Woolooworths located at the The Mall (1.19).

Artist Studio

There is an art studio within the area, located within an exposed cavern, it can be found by walking through the tangerine tunnel, and then by walking left.

Clementine Stadium

Clementine Stadium is a football stadium, and a major landmark of the area. It is an official Point of Interest on the server. Construction began in November 2022 and formally ended in the summer of 2023. It is considered the most important building in the area

Clementown Museum

Clementown Museum is a museum containing artworks, mob heads, maps and some objects from Clementown. It is still considered a work in progress.

Clementown Docks

The Clementown Docks are a set of docks located to the right of Clementine Stadium.

Clementown Swimming Pool

The Clementown Swimming Pool is located south of Clementine Stadium, it is a 100 block wide swimming pool, with stands for seating.

Smaller Builds

At the back of the lodge are farms for growing wheat, sugar cane, carrots, pumpkins and more. Outside the front of the lodge there are a few smaller builds, the entrance to the mines can be found here. Located on a hill overlooking the area is the nether portal, aswell as the Clementown flagpole. At the bottom of the hill is a map of the area.

There exists a couple builds created by other players in the area, which have now become landmarks. Firstly, the Spire Tree, it is a birch tree with a tall spire of diorite sticking out of the top. The other landmark is Comedy Square, which was created by visitors to the area (Crabs6450 and Scia8028), it was requested that this area be preserved and it is now a landmark.

Natural Landmarks

Satsuma Mountain

Satsuma Mountain is a large natural landmark of the area, and is the first thing you are likely to see if you arrive from the IBR. The Peace Bridge, which runs from Clementown to IBR, passes directly by the mountain. The mountain provides a nice natural spot to photograph the area.

Tangerine Hill

Tangerine Hill is another natural landmark in the area, located on the hill is the nether portal for the area, as well as the Clementown flagpole.

Clementown Flag

The flag of Clementown is seen in various locations in the area. It is a black saltire on an orange background.
