Getting Started

Starting off in the RT Server is pretty simple, one can decide to travel from spawn in whichever direction they wish to go until a suitable location has been found.

Spawn

Spawn is the starting area for every new player on the server.

Quantum, a player on the server, builds his base by spawn in the 1.13 server

Base Building

Once a location has been chosen, building a base is simple. Placing down one's first chest will create a small claim around it. Later, a wooden shovel can be used to set claims and rearrange the size of claims.

Towns

Towns are created by a player/s in order to have a community of like-minded builders. Towns are generally founded by a few individuals and are therefore known as the 'Mayor/s' of that town. (There can be multiple Mayors in any given town.) Some towns run under a theme, however most are run without any specific plans in place. Sakurium would be one of these examples, a town built to look like a metropolis. Sometimes players within a town can become inactive, leaving the town inactive.

Nether Hub

The Nether Hub is an integral part of the server, as it is located in the center and has the main method of transportation, shopping areas, and meetups. The 1.13 Nether Hub was very much this way, but was more disorganized and in control of everyone, where as the new one is mod controlled.

Build Streams

During the 1.13 server, everyone would gather at spawn to follow RT to find a location for a build. This changed to a predetermined location being chosen and with the 1.14 server, a separate world was created for the sole purpose of hosting build streams. In these build streams,RT presents an idea or goal and players build towards that goal, such as building a Starbucks themed island (Starbucks Island), or recreating an off brand Disneyland (DosneyLand Stream Build).

Most build streams last from around an hour to two hours, allowing enough time for players to build. These build streams may sometimes be in creative, allowing players more freedom, or in survival, where all players are provided with certain materials to fit a theme.
