During the lifespan of the New Earth map, many players united to build things together. A build group was an organized group of players that made builds together.
Build groups ranged from those created solely for a single build to those who made builds across multiple regions and zones. This article will mainly cover the established build groups that A) have built more than one project together, separating it from a one-off group build, and B) have a name or shared identity, as well as some level of recognition.
Many of the server's largest builds were constructed by a build group and its associates: the large-scale constructions by these groups often caused tensions with mods, which was a source of much drama.
Many of the build groups on the server have either completely shut down or gone inactive. Several of them moved to the Survival server, notably the World Transport Authority and New World Order, who founded the settlements of Crater's Harbor and Nurndal, respectively.
